2014 Cubs Outlast Dodgers in 45+ Central Final in Arizona

Our team priorities in the Arizona MSBL 45-over Central division, in order, are the health and safety of the players, having a good time and winning. Therefore, we play everyone approximately equal throughout the regular season since we all pay equal. Once “free baseball” (the playoffs) start, we play our “best” players while trying to get everyone into the game. That formula led to a successful regular season (finished second) and winning the playoffs. This was the second championship won by the Cubs in the AZMSBL with the first coming in 2004. We generally don’t have a lot of turnover on the team and we have never “cut” anyone from the team.
