Atlanta MSBL Midweek Division
Single Elimination Playoff
quarter final Game: Rangers lose to Cherokees
Semi final Game: A’s lose to Cherokees
Championship Game: TarHeels lose to Cherokees 6-4
Midweek has gotten better and better every year. There are quality teams like the A’s, Muckdogs and Tarheels just to name a few that can compete with any Sunday league Team on a given day. We have won the past three or four years in a row but it has not been easy, especially this year. We may have gone 12 -1 but at least half of those games could of gone either way. The one game we lost was versus the Rangers, who provided a very well pitched game during the regular season. We are blessed with some good guys who like playing baseball together. We have smart guys who have been playing baseball all their life and know what do and when to do it. I can’t say enough of how much I enjoyed our Midweek squad this year. Many thanks to the Sidewinders who have been playing with us during Midweek and thanks to Howie Marx with all his support and efforts of making our team a success.
Atlanta MSBL 25+ Division
Game 1: Cherokees 2 Giants 3
Game 2: Giants 2 Cherokees 3
Game 3: Cherokees 6 Giants 5
Three solid games with two if the best teams in the league. They beat us last year in game three and we beat them this year in game three. The Giants have a solid bunch of guys all who know how to play baseball. It is always good to play those guys and even better to beat them in for the Championship.
