The Brick Bat/Broadway Bound Brewers swept the championship series two games to none. Rick Hein was playoff MVP with a double, triple, home run, three runs, four RBI and entered the game to record the save in the first game and pitched the complete game win in the second game. In the divisional final series Hein also recorded a win and a save in the two game sweep. The Brewers captured their second consecutive league championship and 12th overall in the 22 year history of the league. The Drillers reached the championship series for the sixth time in their six year history winning the championship in their first four years. The Drillers or Brewers have now won all of the past 11 league championships.
