West Metro Atlanta Finds Ways to Stay in the Game

A few words from Don Etheridge, West Metro Atlanta Founder and Officer

“The West Metro Atlanta MSBL is encouraging all of its players to stay in shape, especially in baseball shape. Whether it is throwing a tennis ball against a garage door to practice their fielding or swinging a weighted bat in the back yard, players want to be ready to play as soon as they can get on the field.

Two examples of what our players are doing is Lenny Weiss of the Saturday League Cardinals who has set up a temporary mound in his back yard to get some pitching work in, and my batting net set up in the basement where I can take some cuts off of a tee. Our West Metro Atlanta MSBL players want to make sure they are ready to go on Opening Day!”
