Playing for both the Adirondack Generals and the Rainier Emeralds in 60+ competition, McHugh has established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive players in the league.

Through his first 12 games between the two clubs, McHugh has combined for:

  • 31 hits
  • 21 runs scored
  • 21 RBIs
  • 6 home runs
  • 11 stolen bases
  • .608 batting average
  • 55 total bases

For the Adirondack Generals, McHugh has been nearly unstoppable. In five games, he is batting .722, collecting 13 hits in 18 at-bats, while scoring 10 runs, driving in 11 runs, stealing 11 bases, and blasting 3 home runs. His incredible 2.070 OPS highlights just how dominant he has been at the plate.

McHugh’s performance for the Rainier Emeralds has been equally impressive. Through seven games, he is hitting .545 with 18 hits11 runs scored10 RBIs, and 3 home runs. He has reached base at a .605 clip while posting a stellar 1.544 OPS.

Several games stand out among McHugh’s remarkable season. On June 17, he went a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs, three runs scored, and three stolen bases for the Generals. For the Emeralds, his May 17 performance against the Cubs featured a 4-for-5 day with two home runs and three RBIs, helping lead his club to victory.

At an age when many players have stepped away from competitive baseball, McHugh continues to prove that elite performance knows no age limit. His combination of power, speed, and consistency has made him a key contributor to both championship-caliber clubs.

As the 2026 season progresses, Scott McHugh is building a resume that places him among the leading candidates for league MVP honors while helping both the Adirondack Generals and Rainier Emeralds pursue championship aspirations.
