Mustangs Baseball Club Squads Support Charitable Causes

Submitted by MSBL World Series Hall of Fame Member Mike LaComb, Mustangs Baseball Club organizer
The Mustangs Baseball Club’s 53+ and 60+ teams recently came together to support two very worthwhile causes. The players donated funds to purchase for-cause dri-fit tee shirts to wear as warm-up shirts.
Aside from being an MSBL baseball team, the Mustangs Baseball Club is a non-profit charity organization that raises funds for several worthwhile charities. It is our way of performing community service to express our gratitude from all of us who are still healthy enough to be playing baseball in our 50s and 60s. We also strive to encourage others to stay active in baseball and other group activities.
One shirt supports mental health awareness, since September has that as the charity cause of the month. The second shirt brings attention to breast cancer research for a cure, since October is breast cancer awareness month.
