MSBL Veteran Pitcher Mike Smith Receives his 1989 Baltimore Orioles Game-worn Jersey from Unforeseen Source

Mike Smith is an MSBL veteran pitcher who continues to pitch for the Boston Wolfpack, along with other powerhouse teams, in national MSBL tournaments from Florida to Arizona.  Mike’s pedigree also includes him being a pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles in the late 80s and early 90s.

Enter Hugh Coles in London, England who recently found Mike’s game-worn Oriole’s jersey from 1989 and began an amazing journey to return the jersey to Mike.

“In 1989, Mike Smith pitched 15 MLB games for the Orioles,” explained Coles.  “34 years later his jersey turned up for sale on a vintage clothing app.

👉Then I found Mike Smith.

This is a secondhand story that took me from London to Baltimore, Texas, and Boston. This is a story about the adventure of vintage clothes, and the value of the things we throw away, lose, or forget.
