MSBL Player of the Week: Connor Way, Blue Ridge Men’s Baseball League

Submitted by Anthony Remijan, manager
The Charlottesville Brewers proudly nominate Connor Way for MSBL Player of the Week following another exceptional all-around performance that helped lead the Brewers to a 10-0 victory in a run-shortened seven-inning game.
Way was dominant on the mound, allowing just one hit while striking out eight batters over six innings. He controlled the game from the outset, consistently attacking the strike zone and keeping opposing hitters off balance throughout his outing.
In addition to his stellar pitching performance, Way made a significant impact at the plate by hitting a home run that gave the Brewers an early lead and set the tone for the game.
This performance follows an equally impressive previous outing in which Way threw a 1-hit shutout and recorded 13 strikeouts in another shortened seven-inning contest. Over his last two starts, he has allowed just two hits while striking out 21 batters, showcasing remarkable consistency and dominance.
Connor’s contributions on both sides of the ball have been instrumental to the Brewers’ success, and his outstanding performances make him a deserving candidate for MSBL Player of the Week honors.
