Facing only 36 batters and not allowing a runner past second base, he scattered nine hits and struck out seven, improving to the league-best record of 5-1 on the season. He lowered his league-leading ERA to a stingy 1.13.
Tavic pitched 2021 and 2022 at Wabash College, before joining the Arrows in 2023. He was coached in high school by IBL member John Zangrilli who helped lead the Arrows to an 18+ Championship in 2003.
This win, coupled with another win in a makeup game on the same afternoon, propelled the Arrows to second place in the standings.
