MABL/MSBL Player of the Week: Mike Sentman, Indy Orioles, Indiana Baseball League

By Steve LaMontia, Director of Communications

Our goal at MSBL is to recognize any outstanding efforts from across the country.  Our ‘Players of the Week’ stories are not designed to honor just one person per week, but multiple players if warranted.  We have plenty of space so keep them coming!  Please forward any recommendations to me at [email protected].

The logo of the Indiana Baseball LeagueWade Teltoe is the manager of the Indy Orioles of the 18+ National Division of the Indiana Baseball League.  He has recommended two players for ‘Player of the Week’ honors.  We will be showcasing Mike Sentman in this article and plan on talking about the pitching achievements of teammate Dan Brennaman sometime soon.

“Recently, our shortstop Mike Sentman became the 19th player, sixth in 18+ division, in IBL History to record 200 hits in a career, a career that has spanned over 11 seasons while driving an hour-plus to every game. He also got our team’s first hit back in our first game in 2014.  Congratulations, Mike!”
