MABL/MSBL PLayer of the Week: Eric Fielding, Chicago Central MSBL

Mike Nuccio is the manager of the 43+ Pelicans from the Chicago Central MSBL and contacted us to recognize one of his players, Eric Fielding, as an MABL/MSBL Player of the Week.  The Pelicans are currently 3-1 in the league and Eric is hitting a cool .714 entering this past Thursday night’s game.

“I would like to nominate Eric Fielding for player of the week,†explained Mike.  “Eric went 2-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI. While we lost to last year’s champion Woodpeckers, Eric’s bat helped keep it close through five innings. Eric also had two great plays at third base to solidify the defense.â€
