MABL/MSBL Player of the Week: Dan Brenneman, Indiana Baseball League

Wade Teltoe is the manager of the Indianapolis Orioles, who reside in the tough 18+ National Division of the Indiana Baseball League.  Through June 13^th they stand at 5-2 and have only surrendered 18 runs in seven total games.  He recently sent us his request for his pitcher, Dan Brenneman, to be considered as the MABL/MSBL ‘Player of the Week.’

“Dan pitched five innings on May 19th and struck out 10 while only giving up two hits and two walks in a 21-0 seven inning win for the Indianapolis Orioles over the Marlins. Dan has now struck out 22 in 12 innings, while only walking four, and has posted a 1.50 ERA.”

Our goal at MSBL is to recognize any outstanding efforts nationwide.  Our ‘Players of the Week’ stories are not designed to honor just one person per week, but multiple players if warranted.  We have plenty of space so keep them coming!  Please forward any recommendations to me at [email protected].
