Louisville Slugger Warriors Go to Bat for Two High School Seniors

The Louisville Slugger Warriors Amputee Baseball Team has become a staple at MSBL national tournaments, including very impressive showings at recent MSBL World Series’ in ArizonaDavid Van Sleet is the general manager of the team.  David and the Warriors recently sought to help some Florida seniors as they have been deprived of their very special senior year festivities due to the coronavirus pandemic.

David sponsored two seniors recently and helped them to end their senior year on a high note. 

“It’s brought back a few memories for me and in fact I will be wearing my 70’s tuxedo to mark the occasion,” explained ‘Disco Dave’ Van Sleet.’

“Yes, I can still fit in it despite it being a bit snug, but it is all for a good cause. Both young ladies are going to college on DI college softball scholarships, one to Stetson University in Florida  and one to Furman University in South Carolina. We had a a lot of fun planning this for them.”
