League Champion Message from Steve LaMontia, MSBL Director of Communications
Greetings from MSBL! 2020 is finally in the rear-view year and even though there is no light switch to change everything, optimism is the word of the day and hopefully we can all get closer to normal, both on and off the field, as spring and summer approaches.
One thing I want to mention is regarding the 2020 league champions. We have been contacting the league champions as they have become known to us so that we can compose a championship story for you to post on our website League Champion page and on our Facebook and Twitter pages, as we have been doing the past five years. I’m sure you have seen these 2020 stories displayed over the past few months. I have a message for those of you who have been contacted but have yet to send something.
It isn’t too late. It is never too late, because your story will be displayed on the League Champion page for years to come. I continually receive emails asking me if it is too late to send something. Heck no! We WANT to hear from you.
If you have received an email from me in 2020 but now think it is too late because life got in the way and you haven’t gotten around to it, please send me a paragraph or two outlining your championship game and also forward your team picture or any other pictures you may wish to include. 500-750 words will do just fine. Below is the link to our League Champions page if you wish to check out what we are looking for. Just click on the Harleysville picture below:
I also want to extend the invitation to any league champions who didn’t receive my congratulatory email. Please send me your story and I’ll make sure we throw the spotlight your way.
I look forward to spreading the word on your great achievement during very trying circumstances in 2020. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Take care, be safe and we’ll see you in the dirt in 2021!
