CJ “Heater Heatley” Needs Your Help in his Battle of Cancer
This campaign is to help a retired Naval Aviator CJ “Heater” Heatley who is battling Cancer. Heater has been a DCMSBL league member for many years and a participant at the MSBL World Series for many Chicago teams for an equal amount of years. Anyone who knows Heater will never forget his broad smile and infectious personality. He is also one heck of a ball player!
Hey, guys. This is “Heater.” I am so overwhelmed with the response here that I’ve been reaching out to every donor individually with the “Thank you system” embedded in this site. However, feedback from friends indicates that my personalized thank-you notes are not getting through. Please know that my wife and I, as well as family and friends, have been blown away by your generosity. We were hoping for many $5 donations to reach our goal. It is shocking and so humbling to see 3-figure and 4-figure donations. We are eternally grateful beyond words. You have filled me with mission & purpose to go down there and show the world we can defeat cancer. “Taco” will do a live update with me during the infusion Dec 4th and then a follow-up video with the results.
