Chicago Elite Starts Strong in Midwest Suburban Baseball League

Henry Perez of the Chicago Elite from the Midwest Suburban Baseball League located in and around Chicago supplied us with a brief recap of their first game in 2020, which was played on June 28th. In his own words:

The Elite (1-0) trailed early but took the lead in the fourth and never looked back winning, 10-2 against the defending champion Wildcats. Rick Gazarek was 3-4, two runs scored and three RBI that included a double. Austin Kordik was also 2-3 with a triple, two runs scored and a walk.

Matt Perez went seven innings while fanning 12.
