Columbus Pirates Launch Stunning Team Website

By Steve LaMontia-Carlentini, MSBL Director of Communications

Beautifully designed logo of Columbus MSBLMSBL tries to recognize noteworthy achievements, outstanding individual accomplishments, and exhibit our many outstanding leagues, but one thing we don’t do is honor a website of the year.  That would be a tough nut to crack and may leave some leagues disappointed.

Having said that, without announcing a particular competition, here would be the winner for 2025!  The Columbus Pirates, headed by Nate Campbell, are not a league or an organization vying for any promotional income to become larger or wealthier; they are a team.  They are a team that gives a darn, and they have an amazing run in the Columbus MSBL that would rival any team under the MSBL umbrella.

Nate and his crew have searched high and low for every record, picture, and lost detail to put together the history of their ultra-successful Columbus Pirates.

The late Rick Fryman was the maestro of this band of achievers and was responsible for the Pirates’ winning mindset, both on and off the field.  Rick, a member of the 2018 Class of the MSBL National Hall of Fame, unfortunately, passed away in 2024.  But his stamp is on every moment of every game, as the Pirates continue to build a stellar legacy in the Columbus MSBL.

That’s enough introduction.  Have a look for yourself.  Maybe your team would like to embark on a similar website journey, and I’m sure Nate would love to tell you all about what is entailed.

Here is their newly launched website: www.columbuspirates.com
