Originally from Minneapolis, Jim is an inaugural member of the Class A Baseball Twin Cities Hall of Fame and also a member of the Minnesota Slow Pitch Hall of Fame.

Doug Harmon, 2025 Arizona MSBL Hall of Fame Inductee

Multiple Arizona MSBL League Championships

For the past 30 years, Doug Harmon has participated in the Arizona MSBL as a player, coach, and assistant manager. During this time, Doug played on multiple league championship teams, leading his teams with his outstanding play and positive energy, further enhanced by his wit, dry sense of humor, and friendship.

In addition, Doug has served on the Arizona MSBL board of directors for the past six seasons, using his knowledge and enthusiasm to assist in the growth and prosperity of the league.

One particular highlight in Doug’s career happened during the Father-Son MSBL World Series when he, his son, and his nephew hit back-to-back-to-back doubles for a walk-off win in the championship game. Another highlight is the game he went 5 for 5 with ten stolen bases. An outstanding performance for sure.

For his inspirational attitude and extraordinary efforts, Doug Harmon is hereby inducted into the Arizona MSBL Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2025.

For over 30 years, Al Albert has participated in the Arizona MSBL as a player and manager. Al managed his teams for 20 seasons, amassing 350 wins and 12 pennants with 5 overall championships.  In addition, Al managed numerous teams in the Arizona MSBL All-Star Game.

A strong proponent of the Arizona MSBL and its structure, Al ran a tight ship, making sure that his teams played the game the right way, with a hard-nosed, no-nonsense approach that led to the success he and his teammates achieved.

Al’s favorite memory of playing in the Arizona MSBL is that during his twenty years as a manager, he was able to play with 5 other players for all twenty of those seasons.

Al is also a member of the Wisconsin State Baseball League Hall of Fame and the Sheboygan A’s team Hall of Fame, which participated in the WSBL.

For his extraordinary efforts and career achievements, Al Albert is hereby inducted into the Arizona MSBL Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2025.
