USA Volkers 17, Rhode Island Salty Dogs 5

The USA Volkers won their third 75+ National Division MSBL World Series Championship in 2025.

The Volkers have a long-standing winning reputation, started by Billy Jacobs and the Volker Company, owned by Frank Volker. This year’s team was undefeated, and yet did it with supreme sportsmanship toward its opponents and umpires.

The Volkers were led by the outstanding pitching of Howard Elson, Ray Starnes, Terry Fail, Dan Doleshal, and Rick Park.

Hitting stars Fred Krause, Jeff Blatt, Marse McKnoughton, Steve Brye, Chuck Jeffers, Mark Adams, and Bryan Krantz led to victories. Long-time Volkers, the Weaver brothers, were key, as were catchers Tom Keyser and Bill Ehrhardt.

The Volkers have made many friends at the MSBL World Series, and we thank everyone for making it possible to play the game we love.
