North Texas Amateur Baseball League (Dallas) Raises $40,000 for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital

The NTABL/NTABF, an IRS-recognized 501c3 charitable organization, played its annual All-Star Games once again at RoughRiders Ballpark in Frisco, TX, home of the MiLB Frisco RoughRiders, a Texas Rangers affiliate.

The North Texas Amateur Baseball League LogoThe games consist of 2-hour slots featuring all-stars selected from each division, who play games throughout the day at the Minor League park while also raising funds for the children of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. This year, the league, volunteers, and donations contributed over $40,000 in funds raised for the kids.

The annual event, run solely by volunteers, is a staple event that helps the NTABL rise above all other leagues, acting as a one-of-a-kind organization that puts philanthropy on the same level as game play throughout the year.

A shout out to the numerous volunteers who put in the time to make this great event a success, including Chairman of the Board for NTABL/NTABF and MSBL Hall of Famer, Kirk Pruitt; Treasurer and MSBL Hall of Famer, Gerry Mecca; NTABL President, Shawn Lee; Vice President of Rookie League, Saul Kleinfield, and the endless list of others who volunteer and assist to make the event a successful one.
