Daniel Washington and Drew Mancuso Pace Chesapeake Cubs in 2025
By Steve LaMontia-Carlentini, MSBL Director of Communications
In our continuing series of Players of the Week, we have come across two players who helped propel the Chesapeake Cubs to their first league championship in the 21+ Fred Gore Division of the Chesapeake MSBL.
Daniel Washington led the team in hitting with a .485 average while posting a 1.357 OPS and 20 RBIs in 12 games played.

Drew Mancuso dominated on the mound with only four earned runs on the season, which included three wins and an ERA of 1.47, a .211 BAA, and two Ks per inning average.

Both were dominant at their respective positions and helped lead the way for the Chesapeake Cubs to earn their first League Championship.
Thanks to manager Pat Miller for sharing this information with us. Congratulations!
