Palm Beach Thunder 6, Jacksonville Hops 4

The Palm Beach Thunder went undefeated in the tournament, defeating the Jacksonville Hops three times in a unique four-team triple elimination bracket to win the 18+ championship at Cacti Park of the Palm Beaches.

In the championship game, the Thunder dominated offensively, out-hitting the Hops 15-3. Michael “MJ” Jordan had three singles and two RBIs, Tyler Viscusi singled and doubled, Jorge Bravo singled twice and drove in a run, and MVP Shawn Dougherty singled, tripled, and added an RBI.

Javier Molina, Mike DeLeeuw, Brendan Brady (RBI), Eddy Milian, Ahmir Cournier, and Isaiah Malek each singled.

Jared Terefenko (5 IP, 6 K, 1 H, 2 ER) earned the win, tossing five solid innings. Isaac Beebe followed with a perfect sixth, and Luke Kelley closed out the final three innings after pitching five the previous day, allowing two hits and two unearned runs.
