MABL/MSBL Player of the Week: Jay Patti, Chesapeake MSBL

On June 30, Jay Patti went 2-4, including two triples, three runs scored, and six RBI in the 25-12 Orioles win over the Bandits.

In his first game back from a 2-week trip in Italy, Jay hit a bases-clearing triple in both the first and the fourth inning.  His fourth-inning triple spurred a 10-run inning to help the Orioles come back from 9-4 down to win.

In 30 ABs on the season so far, Jay is hitting .500 with a .559 OBP, leading the team in doubles, triples, and RBI.  In 2024 he was voted team MVP and has been a consistent force in the lineup and at third base.

We play in the 21+ Mick Myers Annapolis Division.  We named the divisions after league members who have recently passed.  Right now we’re in a bit of a struggle but have climbed back to 11-8 and have some momentum going!
