Sacramento Tribe 17, Philadelphia Phillies 10

Led by co-mvps’ Steve Bryre and Pat Kelly, the Sacramento Tribe swept through the 70 division of the Las Vegas kickoff Classic winning the championship game 17 to 10 over the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Tribe won all three pool games, 12 running all three teams in seven innings. Kelly had 13 hits and Bryre 12 in the four games and both played stellar defense. Also contributing were Bobby Wooden, who won two games pitching and had some clutch hits, and also Gilbert Banuelos, who was great catching and also had 10 hits.
