Collegeville Cubs Win 2021 Liberty Bell Classic Held in Philadelphia October 2-3

The 2021 Liberty Bell 45+ Classic was held October 2-3 in Philadelphia.  The Champions are the Collegeville Cubs, managed by Mike Vasas.

It was a beautiful weekend for baseball for a change. The six teams were the LI Sundevils 1-2, Sewanhaka (NY) Indians 0-3, LV Rail Riders 2-2, LV White Sox 3-2, Del-Val Bombers 1-2, and the Collegeville Cubs 4-0.

The Cubs went 3-0 in pool play to take the #1 seed. The LV Sox and the Rail Riders played in the semi-finals, with the Sox ending up as 4-2 winners. The Cubs then beat the Sox 7-3 in the Final. The Cubs, Sox, and RR were the top three teams in the Bux-Mont MSBL.

Mike added eight quality players to his Cubs roster and clearly was the best team.
