36 Year-Old Sacramento MSBL Veteran Matt Graver Passes Away

Matt Graver was a fierce competitor with passion for the game. We played together for nearly 16 years and I watched him grow up from a kid to a man. He was loyal and would give you the shirt off his back. It’s a hard loss for us as a baseball family,” stated teammate and friend Eric Aller. “I played alongside Matt on multiple teams in Sacramento. This has been so tough on the whole family.  I hope people can do something to help his young family.”

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help his wife Jeniffer and sons Jake and Max.  Here is an excerpt from that page:

“We lost Matt. Matthew Graver was a good friend, caring father, that loved baseball, was always ready to help, and became part of many good memories of his friends’ lives.

He left two amazing little guys, Jake and Max. They need all our love and support right now. It’s hard to imagine that Jake and Max will grow up without their dad around them. It’s not fair.

As their mom, Jeniffer, and the boys are trying to figure out how to move on with life, their friends decided to set up this account to help them with expenses and to provide a little more comfort in these challenging times.”
