2026 MSBL Player of the Week: Ben Northcutt, North Texas Amateur Baseball League

Ben Northcutt delivered a standout performance on May 18th, pitching five strong innings and allowing only one run while also hitting a home run to help lead the Hurricanes to a 5-4 victory over the Red Sox in the 45+ Masters Division of the North Texas Amateur Baseball League (Dallas).

After being replaced on the bump in the sixth, Northcutt made a diving stop at third base to save a run. Fittingly, Northcutt made the final put-out (with the tying run on 3rd base) to secure the ‘Canes 5-4 win.

After starting the season 0-2, the Hurricanes have gone 7-1 to successfully close out the first half of the season 7-3 and currently sit in second place in one of Dallas/Fort Worth’s most competitive leagues.
