2026 MSBL Player of the Week: Abi Polanco, Connecticut North MSBL

Abi Polanco of the Southington Navigators from the Connecticut North MSBL was 1-for-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs scored (and a HBP) in Game one. Then he was 3-for-4 with a double, four RBI, and two runs scored in game two (while catching). He also threw out a runner stealing.

Both games were mercy-rule wins over the Thomaston Cubs (11-1, 14-4). For the second week in a row, Polanco finished off a mercy-rule win with a walk-off hit. Last weekend, it was a 3-run home run to end a mercy-rule win 11-0.

Abi plays for the Southington Navigators, who are now 14-2 on the season.
