We had three complete games in pool play which helped keep our arms fresh.

Chris Lagow, Mark Avila, and Richard Barragan really helped us out on the mound.  We also had two guys get two wins each.  Dustin Fagundes won the second pool game and the semi-final game while Bryan Thissen won our first game and a playoff game.

James Silva pitched seven solid innings in the championship game and David Geiger closed three consecutive games, including a playoff game, the semi-final game, and the championship.

Our defense was solid all week.  Frankie Fagundes caught 27 consecutive innings as did Ray Varela.  We were solid behind the plate with those two.

Mike Lagow was clutch all week at the plate, as well as on defense, and we only lost the game where he wasn’t in the hitting lineup.  Ronnie Jimenez led us in RBIs and played a great shortstop all week.  Manny Fagundes, Matt Geiser, Nick Criswell, Bryan Thissen, and Ray Varela were all big at the plate.
