2022 65+ American

Inland Angels 14, Paladin 3

We won the 65+ American Division Kickoff Classic championship with a total team effort of 13 guys.  We were short on depth but long on competing.

Greg Brinkley pitched a complete game shutout in the semi-final and Dave Statter pitched a great game in the final against a familiar formidable opponent in Paladin. They always come to play.

The weather was an issue but all the obstacles seemed to fade when we needed to make something happen, like getting a big hit or needing a great fielding play. I was most proud that contributions were made by everyone on the roster.  It was a crazy tourney and we came out on top.  I was glad I was able to be a part of this special Angels championship.
