‘Tyus Throws Complete Game Championship Shutout’

Steve’s Sports won the 50-over National Division MSBL Fall Classic championship by beating the West Coast Gamecocks, 5-0. Pitcher Wayne Tyus pitched a 3-hitter, walked two, and had six K’s in a dominating nine-inning complete game. Wayne also had two hits and an RBI.

Andy Knapp and Dave Geiger each hat a hit and an RBI.  Tyus was named the Team MVP. He pitched in four games, logged 18 innings, went 2-0 with one save,

and hit .458.
