East Coast Cardinals 11, Beantown Boars 2

The East Coast Cardinals 18+ team went to the Holiday Classic with thoughts of overcoming two previous semi-final losses in the MSBL Fall Classic and the past Holiday Classic. Pitching and defense are the team’s trademarks and this tournament was no exception.  The Cardinals gave up 10 runs while scoring 53, coupled with strong pitching performances by Chris ‘Stadium’ Newman, Luke Kelley, Manny Alemany, Mario Ruggerio, and Dakota McFadden.

The powerful offense was led by tournament MVP Dakota McFadden, Chris Kwitzer, and Alex Seifert. The team also turned 11 double plays in the tournament. Kelvin Guzman, Marc DiLeo, Willie Estrada, Bam Ruggerio, Owen Silliman, Jesus Delgado, and Mike Annone rounded out the powerful East Coast Cardinals 18+ team.
