St. Louis Gameface 12, Santa Ynez Sox 2

‘Lacey and Siegel Combine for Championship Victory’

October 26, 2017, HoHoKam Stadium, Mesa, AZ – Starting pitcher Bernard Lacey went 7 1/3 innings and Dan Murray came in to close it out as the Gameface prevailed 12-2 over the Sox. The Gameface broke up a close game by scoring four runs in the sixth and adding on from there. Outfielder Gary Siegel was named MVP while contributing a two run double in the sixth. Said manager Mike Tysdal, “The entire week we were hot from top to bottom and scored a lot of runs. Siegel is actually our number ten hitter. Everybody contributed to this championship.”

Added Paul Creighton, team member from Idaho, “They’re a solid group of guys from St. Louis that welcomed me coming from Idaho like you can’t believe. I felt honored because these guys know how to win. Mike Tysdal is the most cool headed manager I’ve ever played for and he is a player’s coach and lets you just play your game. He makes being on the field fun at all times. I don’t believe there are many or any guys from Idaho that have an MSBL World Series ring and I am so grateful. Thanks guys!
