Find a League In Your Area

Scott Susor is the co-founder of the Houston Hardball League, established in 1990. On April 5th of 2016 Scott died. On the field. During a game. Umpire Terrence
Brown saved Scott’s life. Brown
performed CPR to keep Scott alive after an apparent heart attack.
Six days later Scott had triple
bypass surgery. Scott continues to play for the Hombres in the 55+ division in Houston. This self-professed ‘walking miracle’ plays third base, first
base, catches and occasionally pitches. But now Scott is adding ‘designer’ to his portfolio as he has mastered
the art of baseball card designing and wants to announce what he can offer to
all MSBL players. No, this isn’t a big
money making enterprise as he is barely covering expenses. He is even including free shipping! Scott just wants to give back to his baseball
family for his good fortune on and off the field. Here are the details.
You can choose any year between 1957 and 1974 to design a personal Topps baseball card especially for you . (samples below) The minimum order is a set of ten at a cost
of $40 per set. The card is printed on 22
point cardboard, similar to real baseball cards, and are 2.5” x 3.5” in size. Sets of ten gives you enough to pass along to
family, friends and coworkers. There is
no maximum, of course.
Scott’s ‘Cards That Could Have Been’ are
printed on the front only and designed from a photo you forward to him. The backs are blank as the inclusion of stats
and the design time necessary would make the effort cost prohibitive. Scott prefers to label these ‘art cards.’
If you don’t see the style card you are
looking for from our enclosed samples you can simply go to the internet under ‘Topps’ to review all of the styles and then let Scott know what you want
within the 1957-1974 years.
To order cards or to know more you can email Scott directly. His business email is firstname.lastname@example.org where you can send your photo to him and he can send
you an invoice directly via PayPal. You
could also supply an address and you can order by mail with a check. All photos should be at least 450 pixels x
650 pixels for the best resolution. The
only years Scott can’t offer within this range are 1960 and 1963 because they
include two photos each.
I have ordered mine and I have already
constructed the lies about how good I was! Everyone is a star with their own card that survives the test of
time. I’m sure friends and family will
cherish this very special momento. Good luck!
