2020 Loudoun Nationals Log ‘Three-peat’ in 30+ ‘A’ Division of DCMSBL

The Loudoun Nationals squeaked by the Dukes in extra innings to claim their third straight 30+ DCMSBL ‘A’ Division Championship. The Nationals built a 6-0 lead then saw it disappear in a furious ninth inning, six-run rally by the Dukes. The Nationals then scored two of their own in the top of the 10th to secure the win.
The game saw great pitching by Kris ‘Turbo’ Turberville and ‘Stevo’ Smith , which proved to be the difference in the game. We were all very glad for the opportunity to play baseball this season. Kudos to Jerry Klemm and Larry Lombardi for making it happen!
