2014 Pirates Re-claim Title in Southern Colorado MSBL

The SOCO MSBL (Colorado Springs, Colorado) post season tournament was a best of 
three series between the Champions for the past three seasons. (Angels 2013, Pirates 2012, Angels 2011).
In game one, the Pirates fought back from a 6-0 Angels lead in the final innings and forced extra innings where the Angels won on a walk-of double by John Vaughn in the bottom of the 10th inning and winning 7-6.
In game two, the Pirates and Angels exchanged the lead three times by the end of the game with the Pirates winning 7-6. The game winning difference was LeSean Thomas stealing home in the seventh inning.
In the finals, Pirates pitcher Sloan Soulia took charge and allowed only three runs in the first three innings. He then shut down the Angels offense through the remainder of the game and earned the MVP award. The Pirates finish the season with a 19-3 record with their only losses coming at the hands of the Angels. The Angels finished at 18-4.
